Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi has revealed that its Government will be paying the sum of N24 million for the payment of administrative charges for 13,390 candidates in public secondary schools who will write the March/May 2019 West Africa Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) across the state.

Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Ayodeji Ajayi, who disclosed this in his office in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, said the approved sum would be used to pay One thousand,

Eight hundred and Fifty Naira (N1,850) to cover both the administrative charges and other incidental expenses relating to the examination.

He however warned candidates to desist from any form of examination malpractice.
